Isaac R. Montañez school is a new school in Brentwood that serves up to 1,000 preschool to 8th grade students. The new school building includes classrooms, administration offices, a kitchen, a multipurpose room, and a library.

The sitework includes two vehicle parking, student and bus drop-offs, two play fields, basketball courts, two playground areas with traditional play structures, a ball wall, a running track, and street sidewalk improvements.

BASE team developed the outdoor play areas and provided planting and irrigation services for the stormwater, play fields, and regular planter areas. For the outdoor use areas, two lunch shelters provide shade for the students and a place to socialize and relax. Plants are drought tolerant and the trees at the parking and site areas provide shade.
